Secure Base Membership Terms & Conditions

Thank you for joining the Secure Base Membership.

The Secure Base Membership is designed to provide a calm, reflective space where you can deepen your understanding of attachment and strengthen your relationship with your child. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before joining. By purchasing a membership, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Your Membership

Your Secure Base Membership includes access to:

  • A growing library of attachment-informed guided meditations.
  • Monthly live calls exploring the theme of the month.
  • Recordings of the monthly calls, available in the membership library.
  • New guided meditations and other content added during your membership.
  • Downloadable resources where provided.

The content within the membership may evolve over time. I may add, update, improve or remove content and features in order to keep the membership valuable and relevant.

2. Subscription and Payment

The Secure Base Membership is a monthly subscription.

  • The standard membership fee is £38 per month.
  • Some members may join with a discounted rate or promotional offer. Where a discounted price has been offered, that price will remain the same for the lifetime of your continuous membership unless you cancel your subscription.
  • Some members may receive a one-month free trial before their first payment.
  • Payments are taken monthly from your original billing date.
  • Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel it.

If a recurring payment is unsuccessful, Kajabi Payments and Stripe will automatically attempt to collect payment according to their retry schedule. If payment cannot be collected and automatic access removal is enabled, your access to the membership will be suspended until payment is successfully received.

3. Cancellation

You may cancel your membership at any time.

When you cancel:

  • No further payments will be taken.
  • You will continue to have access to the membership until the end of your current paid billing period.
  • Access will end automatically after your current billing period expires.

Instructions for cancelling your membership:

We understand that needs change. If you decide to cancel your Secure Base Membership, you can do so from your billing information page when self-cancelation is available on your account.

To cancel your membership:

  1. Log in to your Secure Base Membership account.
  2. Go to your billing information page.
  3. Find your Secure Base Membership subscription.
  4. Select the option to cancel your subscription.
  5. Follow the prompts to confirm your cancelation.

If you pay through PayPal, you may be redirected to PayPal to complete the cancelation there. This is a normal part of canceling PayPal subscriptions.

Once your cancelation is complete, you will no longer be billed for the Secure Base Membership. Your access may continue through the end of your current billing period, depending on your subscription terms.

If you do not see an option to cancel from your billing page, please contact support and we’ll help you with the next step.

4. Refunds

If you joined without a free trial, you may request a full refund of your first monthly payment within your first month of membership.

This refund policy applies only to your initial payment and does not apply to subsequent monthly payments.

Members who join through a free trial are not eligible for a refund once the first subscription payment has been taken.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

5. Nature of the Membership

The Secure Base Membership is intended for educational and reflective purposes.

It is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, psychological treatment, medical advice or crisis support.

While I may answer general parenting questions during live sessions, I am unable to provide personalised therapeutic advice or ongoing individual support through the membership.

Joining the membership does not establish a therapist-client, psychologist-client or other clinical relationship.

If you or your child require therapeutic, medical or emergency support, please seek appropriate professional services.

6. Personal Responsibility

Some of the content may invite personal reflection or explore emotionally meaningful experiences.

You are encouraged to engage with the material at your own pace, take breaks whenever needed and use your own judgement about what feels supportive for you at any given time.

7. Confidentiality

Live calls are intended to provide a respectful and supportive learning environment.

If other members choose to share personal experiences, please treat what is shared as confidential and do not discuss another member's personal information outside the membership.

Although everyone is asked to respect confidentiality, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed within an online group setting.

8. Community Expectations

To help create a welcoming environment for everyone, members are expected to:

  • communicate respectfully and kindly;
  • abusive, discriminatory or harassing behaviour will not be tolerated;
  • respect differing experiences and perspectives;
  • contribute in ways that support a safe learning environment.

I reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership where these expectations are not respected.

9. Intellectual Property

All membership content, including guided meditations, videos, recordings, downloadable resources, written materials and other content, remains my intellectual property unless otherwise stated.

Your membership gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your own personal learning.

You may not:

  • share your login details;
  • copy or reproduce the materials;
  • distribute or upload the materials elsewhere;
  • record live sessions;
  • sell, licence or commercially use any membership content.

10. Recording of Live Calls

Monthly live calls are recorded and made available to members within the membership library.

If you choose to ask a question with your microphone or camera switched on, your contribution may appear in the recording.

If you would prefer not to appear in the recording, you are welcome to keep your camera off and refrain from speaking during the recorded session.

By participating on camera or asking questions verbally during a live call, you acknowledge that your contribution may be included in the recording shared with other members.

11. Availability

I will make every reasonable effort to ensure the membership remains available.

However, occasional maintenance, updates or technical issues may temporarily interrupt access. I cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability at all times.

12. Changes to the Membership

The membership will continue to develop over time.

I may add new content, improve existing resources or make reasonable changes to the structure or features of the membership in order to improve the member experience.

13. Ending a Membership

I hope this is never necessary, but I reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership without refund where a member:

  • shares their login details;
  • copies or distributes membership materials;
  • breaches these Terms and Conditions;
  • behaves in a way that is abusive, threatening or harmful to other members;
  • or engages in other behaviour that reasonably requires me to protect the membership, its members or its content.

14. Accessibility and Inclusion

The Secure Base Membership has been designed with accessibility and inclusion in mind, including the needs of neurodivergent parents. The content is intended to be self-paced, clear and delivered in manageable steps so that members can engage in a way that feels sustainable for them.

I recognise that everyone's needs are different. If there is anything that would make the membership more accessible or inclusive for you, I warmly encourage you to get in touch. While I may not always be able to accommodate every request, I will always consider reasonable adjustments wherever possible.

15. Age Requirement

The Secure Base Membership is intended for adults aged 18 years and over.

16. Privacy

Your personal information will be handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy, which explains how your information is collected, stored and used, your rights under UK GDPR and how you can contact me about your personal data.
